Episode 167: Finding Your Fulfillment

Todd Yawit of Saxon Financial Services

“I know that every day I’m helping not only the business owners but I’m also helping their employees, and their employees’ beneficiaries, and I think the value of trying to help folks build a nice, solid nest for themselves for their retirement is really what gets me up in the morning.”

Todd Yawit never saw himself in the financial services industry, but he did know one thing: he wanted to help people. Todd began his career at a bank, before transitioning into a role in life insurance and investment business. He later ‘accidentally’ found himself in the independent space specializing in retirement planning. Now, Todd is an Accredit Investment Fiduciary® designee and the Director of Employee-Sponsored Retirement Plans at Saxon Financial Services. On top of being a guest speaker for many retirement plan industry groups, Todd is also a valued member of Cambridge’s Retirement Advisory Council – a group of financial professionals used as a sounding board and advisory board on retirement-related topics. Don’t miss this episode as Todd walks listeners through the twists and turns of his career, explains why he finds retirement planning fulfilling, and how he contributes to Cambridge’s Retirement Advisory Council.

In Episode 167: Finding Your Fulfillment, Todd joins Cambridge CEO Amy Webber to discuss:

  • His journey from life insurance to retirement planning
