“We get to broaden and deepen our love for wealth management. And it's a place where we empower, we accept diversification, we get to educate one another. And it is community building. And it is a place of collaboration. We share resources. And we all have goals for growth as a financial planner, as a wealth manager. And I love that we are stronger together." – Andi Kang

Listen now to hear Andi’s insights on leadership, authenticity, and how creating meaningful client relationships is at the heart of financial planning!
Andi’s dream of starting Crown Wealth Management began when she was still an undergraduate student. She took a class in entrepreneurship with a wonderful professor, which sparked her interest and planted the idea of starting her own company one day. At the time, Andi thought this future company would be in retail, as she had been working in that field. However, after continuing her education and taking graduate classes in business, she developed a growing and keen interest in financial management.
When Andi started working for a financial planning company, she quickly experienced the downside of handling people’s money. Decisions were not always made in the client’s best interest. At the time, she was selling insurance and annuities and felt that the company’s clients were not receiving the best care or being advised on the most important aspects of financial planning. Determined to create a different kind of financial firm, she made the decision to start her own company. Her dream became a reality when Crown Wealth Management opened its doors in 2007.
Andi worked diligently to build her business, organizing seminars and workshops at local colleges and companies to generate leads. She watched her company grow and develop, and today, Crown Wealth Management serves close to 500 households.
Crown Wealth Management’s team is unique in their approach – offering a different kind of financial management that aligns with the company’s tagline: “Live Abundantly, Give Generously.” The five core principles behind this theme are family values, intrinsic treasures, resource stewardship, engaging society, and legacies of wisdom. These principles are central to CWM’s mission. Andi’s heart’s desire was, and still is, to come alongside clients and help them discover the true meaning of wealth – a result of sharing the fruits of their abundance with family, neighbors, and the larger community.
Crown Wealth Management’s advisors are Certified Financial Planner® professionals who continuously stay up to date with the latest compliance regulations and financial industry trends. This ensures that clients receive the most current information and the highest level of service. Andi and her team offer clients the benefit of their experience, expertise, and the confidence of knowing that their best interests always come first.
Andi is dedicated to professional growth and lifelong learning, both personally and professionally. She is focused, energetic, and determined. These qualities not only helped her build a successful financial business but also played a role in achieving personal milestones. At age 50, Andi ran her first marathon. Since then, she has completed over 25 full and half marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and continues to train and compete today.
