"I had leaders that believed in me before I believed in myself."
— Erin Franklin
"The answer has always been 'yes' anytime I want to learn or grow."
— Jared Ness
In this episode of Cambridge Stronger, Amy Webber sits down with Erin Franklin, Senior Director Human Resources, and Jared Ness, Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, to explore what helps talented people turn early opportunities into meaningful, lasting careers.
Both Erin and Jared began at Cambridge through The Next Step® internship program, but the paths they followed were far from predetermined. They share how meaningful responsibility, trust from leaders, continued learning, and the freedom to explore new strengths helped them grow into roles they may not have initially imagined.
For advisors and firm leaders, their experiences offer a practical perspective on developing and retaining talent. When people feel supported, connected, and confident that their contributions matter, they are more likely to share ideas, embrace change, and continue building their careers with the firm.
