Cambridge Executives Earn Top Honors at WealthManagement.com Industry Awards

Amy Webber (CEO of the Year), Tammy Robbins (Enterprise Executive of the Year), and Sean Van Moorleghem (CTO of the Year) recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment to advisors

FAIRFIELD, IA – September 24, 2026 — Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (“Cambridge”), a leading independent financial solutions firm serving more than 4,100 advisors nationwide, is pleased to announce that three members of its executive leadership team earned top honors at the 2026 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards, held earlier this month in New York City. CEO Amy Webber earned CEO of the Year honors (Broker-Dealers, 1,000+ Advisors), while EVP and Chief Business Development Officer Tammy Robbins was named Enterprise Executive of the Year. EVP and Chief Technology Officer Sean Van Moorleghem was recognized as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Year.1

The award wins continue a strong year of industry recognition for Cambridge. In June, the firm was named InvestmentNews Broker-Dealer of the Year and Webber earned the InvestmentNews CEO of the Year award for her leadership and contributions to financial services.2,3 Together, the awards recognize the leadership and innovation taking place across Cambridge as the firm works to enhance the experience for its advisors and their clients.

The WealthManagement.com Industry Awards recognize outstanding achievements by companies, organizations, and individuals who are supporting the development and success of advisors across the country. Close to 1,400 entries from over 500 companies were submitted, the highest number of submissions ever received in the award program’s 12-year history. All winners were selected by a panel of 19 independent judges. Below is a closer look at each Cambridge executive:

Amy Webber — CEO of the Year (Broker-Dealers, 1,000+ Advisors)
Hired as Cambridge’s 22nd associate in 1998, Webber served in a variety of high-ranking roles before becoming just the second CEO in the firm’s 45-year history, succeeding Founder Eric Schwartz in 2016. Outside of her responsibilities as CEO, she has served multiple terms on the Financial Services Institute’s (FSI) Board of Directors, helped establish successful initiatives such as Cambridge’s Community of Women (CCW), New Century Council, and The Next Step® internship program, and delivers valuable industry insights through her biweekly Cambridge Stronger podcast series. In June, she was named CEO of the Year by InvestmentNews.

Tammy Robbins — Enterprise Executive of the Year
As EVP and Chief Business Development Officer, Robbins helps execute the firm’s recruiting and growth strategies. Under her leadership, Cambridge achieved back-to-back record recruiting years, including $170 million in new revenue added in 2025. Outside of her executive responsibilities, Robbins is a longtime contributor to Cambridge’s Community of Women (CCW) program and has been a member of Women in Financial Services (WIFS) for more than 15 years. She also serves on the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Industry Leadership Board and regularly shares insights through industry publications, webinars, and conferences.

Sean Van Moorleghem — Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Year
Van Moorleghem joined Cambridge in 2025 and serves as EVP and Chief Technology Officer, leading the firm’s technology strategy and artificial intelligence initiatives. Under his leadership, Cambridge has launched an Agentic AI Account Opening solution, along with Indy, a proprietary AI-powered assistant to support advisors and their clients. He has also helped expand the use of tools like Microsoft Copilot across the firm. Before joining Cambridge, Van Moorleghem held technology leadership roles at Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade and today regularly shares insights on the practical application of AI in financial services.
