“If you have a full, balanced life, you’re going to be a better advisor. You’re going to be a better listener. And ultimately, your clients benefit from that.” – Jill Powers
In this episode of Cambridge Stronger, Jill Powers, Managing Partner at Trilogy Wealth Advisors, shares her unconventional path into financial services – from a college career pivot to leadership during the early days of the independent broker‑dealer movement. Her experience across both the retail advisory and broker‑dealer sides shaped her views on independence, regulation, and long‑term sustainability.
The conversation explores Jill’s decision to step away from running a broker‑dealer to focus fully on clients, the collaborative model at Trilogy, and why trust, teamwork, compliance, and work‑life balance are essential to building firms and careers that last.
