FAIRFIELD, IA – April 25, 2025 — Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (“Cambridge”), a leading independent financial solutions firm serving 3,800 advisors nationwide, congratulates Vice President of Human Resources, Morae Metcalf, for winning the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce ‘Young Professional of the Year’ award. Delivered annually, the award honors one individual under the age of 40 who has made an impact on Fairfield and its surrounding communities through outstanding personal and professional work. Metcalf was celebrated at last night’s Chamber awards ceremony in Fairfield.

Metcalf joined Cambridge in 2011 and has nearly 15 years of experience in financial services and human resources. In her role, she leads Cambridge’s Human Resources Team, working with members of the department to develop and implement initiatives in the areas of talent acquisition, training and development, total rewards, employee engagement, performance management, and more.

Metcalf’s impact extends to the community, where she is Vice President on the Board of Directors at the Cambridge Little Achievers Center and is serving her first term as President of the Board at the Education Foundation of Fairfield Public Schools. Her role with the Education Foundation involves developing learning programs, granting scholarships, and raising money for educational endeavors in support of local students. She has completed the Chamber’s Leadership Fairfield program and is currently involved in The Next Level Leader program.

In 2023, Metcalf became one of the first associates in Cambridge history to win one of the firm’s coveted Spirit of Cambridge Awards¹ and in 2024 was named an InvestmentNews Rising Star². She has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations, holds the Series 7 license, and is a Registered Corporate Coach^™ (RCC). She is also a co-chair of Cambridge’s Associate Engagement Leadership Committee and a graduate of Cambridge’s Aspiring Leaders and Continuous Improvement Embedded Leaders programs.
