About Angela Ribuffo, CFP®

Founder and Financial Advisor

Angela Ribuffo founded Raion Financial Strategies so she can deliver a new kind of financial planning experience. One free of judgement and built on mutual, never-ending trust.

She chose the Japanese word for lion – Raion – to honor her mother. A Japanese native and Leo, Angie’s mother always called her family “the pride” and wore a lion pin to remind her of the value of family. When she passed, the pin was passed to Angie who carries and wears it faithfully to this day. Every client now becomes a part of the Raion Pride.

Angie’s wide-ranging career includes graduating high school at age 16, earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from San Fransico State University, and becoming a captain in the United States Air Force while serving as a flight nurse. After separating from the Air Force, she continued to work alongside service members and their families, working in the Family Support center on military bases, and consulting with the Department of Defense on quality-of-life issues for military families.

After her husband retired from the Air Force in 2007, they landed in Anchorage, where she turned to the world of financial services where Raion was eventually born. As a financial planner, Angie has earned numerous licenses and designations, including:

  • Retirement Income Certified Professional®
  • Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®
  • Certification in Long-Term Care
  • Wealth Management Certified Professional®

Angie is happily married to her husband, Steve. They have two adult sons, Stephen and Daniel, and two grandchildren.
