Senior Vice President, Financial Institutions
Barry Schmidt joined Cambridge in 2010 and has over 35 years of experience in relationship management recruiting and a strong background in institutional sales and marketing. In his current role, he is responsible for strategy and implementation as he oversees Cambridge’s financial professional revenue growth services within banks and credit unions across the country. Schmidt previously led Cambridge’s Practice Management, Business and Technology Consulting, Client Solutions, and Succession and Acquisition Solutions Teams. Prior to joining Cambridge, he held senior leadership roles with Advisory Data Solutions, Xerox, National Planning Holdings, and Associated Securities Corporation. Schmidt also served on the New York Stock Exchange Continuing Education Committee and Financial Services Institute (FSI) Advisory Council, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA). He attended Nassau College and holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
