Episode 180: Persistence and Patience

Chris Marovich of Retirement Design Group

“It’s about being persistent, but also being kind of patiently persistent – making sure you know when you are trying to go in a certain direction sometimes you don’t always get the results that you want, but you have to take the actions to get those results.”

It began with persistence. In 1992, Chris Marovich was searching for a job following his college graduation. He and a few classmates stumbled upon a retirement planning company that sparked an interest in finance for Chris. Now – Chris serves as the founder of Retirement Design Group, a firm with a unique focus and specialization in helping small and mid-sized companies create a retirement plan for their employees. After his more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Chris reflects on his journey from recent grad to business owner, while offering advice to those looking to join the world of retirement planning. He also shares the importance of remaining persistent when challenges arise, all while practicing the art of patience.

Tune into Episode 180: Persistence and Patience as Chris Marovich joins Cambridge CEO Amy Webber to discuss:

  • Why he chose a career in financial services
  • Advice for anyone looking to start a career in retirement planning
  • How being proactive in his journey has impacted his success
