I am independent. I am Mike Woods.

My journey is about motivating clients to embrace reaching for the sky – whatever unique goals make up the sky for them. I believe in building resilient, trusting relationships. I am a wealth advisor. In my personal time, I’m an avid volleyball fan with two daughters currently playing. I also enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, running, biking, and the occasional round of golf. Additionally, I like to stay involved in my community. I serve on the Partners in Education Advisory Board and do volunteer work with the Denton Independent School District.

Who we are: 

Stocker Woods Financial, Inc. is located in Denton, Texas, which earned the nickname “Redbud Capital of Texas” for the many bright and colorful redbud trees within our city. Our firm was founded by my partner, Carl Stocker, in 1970 as an independent insurance agency and has since grown into a full-service financial firm working with clients in more than 25 states.
