Bynum, Janota Named to InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 List

Megan Bynum and Chris Janota have been named 2022 InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 honorees.

FAIRFIELD, IA – June 6, 2022 – Cambridge is pleased to announce that two of the firm’s financial professionals have been named 2022 InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 honorees. Megan Bynum of Harvest Wealth Group and Chris Janota of Envoy Wealth Management were honored with the award and profiled in the June 6 print edition of InvestmentNews magazine. The two honorees were among just 40 individuals under the age of 40 working in the financial services industry selected by an InvestmentNews editorial panel. The panel evaluated over 600 candidates and made its final decisions based on each nominee’s accomplishments, contributions, and leadership.

Megan Bynum

A financial advisor and CFP® at Harvest Wealth Group, LLC in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Bynum provides unbiased financial planning to help clients take control of their financial future. Bynum is actively involved in the industry and in her community, serving as an active member of RUTHERFORD Cable, a women’s business organization in the Murfreesboro area that focuses on women’s professional advancement. She was also awarded the RUTHERFORD Cable Rising Star in 2014 for exemplifying excellent business leadership potential and holds an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Other notable achievements and ways Bynum positively impacts her community include:

  • Active Member — Martin Chair of Insurance Advisory Board at MTSU

  • Graduate — Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program

  • Active Member – Cambridge Practice Management and New Century Advisory Councils

Chris Janota

Janota founded Envoy Wealth Management in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. In addition to his role as an advisor, Janota has actively worked to promote financial education across all age groups. Through Northern Illinois University’s Alumni Association mentorship programs, he helps college students prepare for a career in the financial services industry by sharing insight into his role as an entrepreneur and advisor. He also actively volunteers with InvestWrite, a financial education literacy program that strives to help young people understand the capital market system. Other notable ways Janota has made a positive difference in his community include:

  • President at Act of Grace, a non-profit organization that provides support and services to youths with epilepsy and other extraordinary neurological conditions

  • Member of Cambridge’s New Century Council, a group comprised of industry peers who collaborate to shape the future of the profession by helping the firm identify new ideas and technologies that will benefit investors

  • Volunteer with the Life Happens Scholarship Program
