FAIRFIELD, IA – December 10, 2024 — Cambridge, a leading financial solutions firm, has announced the promotion of Morae Metcalf to Vice President, Human Resources. In her new role, Metcalf will oversee the integration of Cambridge’s Training and Education team into its Human Resources department, leading efforts to deliver impactful training experiences while exploring new ways to support growth and engagement across the firm. Metcalf is being elevated from her position as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources.
Metcalf joined Cambridge in 2011 and has nearly 15 years of experience in financial services and human resources. During her time at Cambridge, she has led the development of initiatives in talent acquisition, total rewards, employee engagement, and performance management, helping the firm build a reputation as a premier destination for top talent in the financial services industry. As a co-chair of Cambridge’s Associate Engagement Leadership Committee, her work has also helped the firm build an inclusive workplace where associates of all backgrounds have the resources to build a rewarding career.
In 2023, Metcalf became one of the first associates in Cambridge history to win one of the firm’s coveted Spirit of Cambridge Awards1, and in 2024 was named an InvestmentNews Rising Star2. She has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations, holds the Series 7 license, and is a Registered Corporate Coach™ (RCC). Metcalf is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and a graduate of Cambridge’s Aspiring Leaders and Continuous Improvement Embedded Leaders programs.
