Cambridge Celebrates 15 Years of Driving Advisor Growth Through Practice Management Coaching Program

Nearly 900 financial professionals have participated in the firm’s Real Practice Management program

FAIRFIELD, IA – March 11, 2025 — Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (“Cambridge”), a leading independent financial solutions firm serving 3,800 financial professionals across the country, announced that nearly 900 financial professionals have participated in its Real Practice Management (“RPM”) coaching program since its launch 15 years ago.

The RPM program combines one-on-one coaching with interactive group meetings and structured content for financial professionals who want to enhance their practice and develop skills and solutions to better support clients and drive sustainable growth.

Led by Cambridge’s Practice Management Team, the multi-year program has helped participating financial professionals grow their business by 10-15%. More than 75% of participants are still affiliated with Cambridge.

“I feel very fortunate to get to work with the talented and dedicated associates on our Practice Management Team,” said Greg Turner, Executive Vice President of Consulting Services at Cambridge. “I consistently hear our financial professionals explain to other advisors the positive impact RPM has had on their business, and we continually see real growth from the financial professionals who work with our team and utilize the program. The relationships and business successes realized through our program over the last 15 years are a point of great pride.”

The multi-year RPM program includes three levels:

  • RPM Vision (Year 1) supports financial professionals as they define their business model and unique value proposition.
  • RPM Focus (Year 2) guides financial professionals in fine-tuning a strategic plan to implement the goals and objectives they have identified as key components of their success.
  • RPM Recharge (Year 3+) is a networking conference for RPM alumni with courses moderated by Cambridge to re-energize and refocus on topics crucial to the successful running of their business.

To complete the program, financial professionals must create a business plan, marketing plan, strategic plan, and succession and continuity plans, among other foundational documents.

Jeff Vivacqua, President of Growth and Development at Cambridge, added, "Financial professionals who have completed the RPM coaching program have consistently grown faster than the average Cambridge financial professional. We continue to develop the program to address the needs of the next generation, helping them achieve growth objectives and excellence within a crowded marketplace.”
