“A lot of the narrative around this generation…we’re finding that these guys are willing to work and ready to do whatever it takes. They’re not just trying to get a salary – they’re really looking to build something long term.” – Nate Kosman
In this episode of Cambridge Stronger, Nate Kosman, CEO of The Rosselot Financial Group (RFG), shares his journey from a college career pivot to leading his stepfather’s family firm. After gaining experience outside the business, Nate returned with a vision for growth, continuity, and mentoring future advisors. That vision inspired the firm’s apprenticeship program, which develops the next generation through mentorship, hands-on client experience, and clear career pathways.
The conversation also explores family business succession, cultivating young talent, and why staying closely connected to clients remains central to strong leadership.
Episode 249: Building Tomorrow’s Advisors Today offers insight into:
Nate Kosman began his career in the financial services industry while still in college and continued his professional path after graduating from the University of Cincinnati. In 1998, he joined his stepfather, Ron Rosselot, at Rosselot Financial Group, where he now serves as CEO of both Rosselot Financial Group and Interdependent Advisors LLC while continuing to work directly with clients. Nate is known for taking a thoughtful, client‑first approach – listening closely to individual goals and building practical road maps toward financial independence and retirement. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, concerts, and sporting events, and is a former competitive athlete and coach. Nate and his wife, Christy, are high school sweethearts and proud parents, now empty nesters with both children working in the family business.
