“Any experience, whether it be good or bad, is the best way to find out what you enjoy and what you want to do.”
Tune into this episode of Cambridge Stronger featuring McKylie Hoff, Financial Advisor at Hoff Financial Services.
McKylie once vowed she’d never follow her mother into financial services, but a spark of interest in economics, and some early lessons from her family, changed her course. In this conversation, McKylie shares how Hoff Financial embraces the “blanket effect,” a holistic approach to serving clients through investments, insurance, and accounting. She also reflects on lessons from consolidating multiple offices, building confidence through mentorship, and the importance of creating a supportive “tribe” as a young professional in the industry.

McKylie Hoff is a Licensed Financial Advisor with Hoff Financial Services in the Chetek office. She enjoys working with all HFS clients and is always happy to help with any scenarios they bring her way. McKylie also travels to all three HFS offices.
She grew up on a third-generation family farm, the same kitchen table where Hoff Financial Services began is the one she grew up eating supper at, alongside her two loving parents and brothers, who remain some of her closest friends.
After life on the farm, McKylie moved to Menomonie to pursue a Business Administration degree with an Economics minor. During her time at UW-Stout, she also competed on the volleyball team for four years. She has since returned to the area with her two fur babies and enjoys spending her free time outdoors soaking up the sunshine and fresh air.
Her chosen prop is a blanket – not only because of her love for napping, but also for its symbolization of security, comfort, and friendship. These are values she strives to embody both personally and professionally. McKylie also believes that HFS provides a true “blanket effect,” as each team member works to educate, empower, and enhance every client with compassion, ensuring they feel that same sense of security, comfort, and friendship.
