Episode 158: You Deserve To Be Here

Peter Bacchiocchi of G9 Financial and Peggy Haslach of Finity Group

“If we don't stand up front and center and magnify the voices of marginalized people, then we can't expect any change to happen. And I think that it's that change that we're working towards, to be more inclusive, that's what's going to bring additional opportunity for success to both our clients and then also to our industry.”

Sometimes it’s accidental; that was the case for both Peter Bacchiocchi and Peggy Haslach. Neither of them ever envisioned themselves as financial professionals in the independent space. Peter’s journey began when an old friend reached out to him about joining the industry, and Peggy made a career change after being asked to help out a friend in need. Now, Peter serves as the Vice President of Operations and financial consultant at G9 Financial. And Peggy holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation as a financial advisor at the Finity Group, but their journeys in financial services didn’t stop there; they continue to evolve. Peter and Peggy continue to be motivated members of Cambridge’s Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Advisory Council and the Cambridge LGBTQIA+ task force. They actively work to spread awareness around diversity, inclusivity, and equality within the financial services industry and their respective communities.
