“Your reputation compounds just like investments do.” — Lawson Hachmeister
“You gotta do it scared, you gotta do it nervous, even if you’re tired or uncertain. You just have to do it.” — Richa Ghosh
In this special episode of Cambridge Stronger, Amy Webber sits down with The Next Step® 2026 interns Richa Ghosh and Lawson Hachmeister for a conversation about growth, uncertainty, career exploration, and what the next generation is discovering about financial services.
Throughout the conversation, Richa and Lawson explore what it means to grow before you feel fully ready. From moving across the world and changing career paths to stepping into unfamiliar rooms and navigating uncertainty, their experiences highlight the role curiosity, mentorship, and meaningful work can play in building confidence. Their perspectives offer a thoughtful reminder that future leaders are shaped through opportunity, relationships, and the willingness to keep moving forward.
For advisors and firm leaders thinking about growth, succession, or team development, the conversation is a reminder that developing future talent is about more than teaching technical skills. It’s about creating opportunities for people to ask questions, build confidence, explore different paths, and learn from those who have already walked the road ahead.
