Cambridge Names Harison Sidhu Firm’s First Chief Investment Officer

Move reinforces Cambridge’s commitment to delivering industry-leading investment products, research, and services

FAIRFIELD, IA – November 3, 2025 — Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (“Cambridge”), a leading financial solutions firm serving more than 4,000 financial professionals nationwide, today announced the appointment of Harison Sidhu as First Vice President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO). The move makes Sidhu the first CIO in Cambridge’s nearly 45-year history and doubles down on the firm’s commitment to delivering industry-leading investment products, research, and services to financial professionals.

Sidhu has made a mark since joining the firm in February. His work driving Cambridge’s Investments and Insurance department — including its Due Diligence and Analysis, Insurance Center, and Investment Product Center Teams — has led to the development of Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) Services and an expanded menu of strategic investment models for use by the firm’s financial professionals. From the research side, his teams developed Cambridge’s Research Center featuring focus and conviction lists for equities and fixed income funds, in addition to white papers and proprietary investment research insights. His teams are also building alternative investment strategies, with plans to add private market capabilities and additional research that financial professionals can use with clients.

Sidhu joined Cambridge with more than 15 years of experience in investment management and research, and a proven track record of delivering strong investment results. Most recently, he served at Fiduciary Trust Company in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was co-head of the firm’s investment department and co-chaired its investment committee. Additional previous roles include Portfolio Consultant at Black Rock and Portfolio Manager at Choate Investment Advisors. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Sidhu holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from Babson College. He has also re-acquired the Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses in his short time with Cambridge.
