Cambridge Advisors Named Finalists for InvestmentNews Advisor of the Year Award

Divam Mehta, Jim Wessels, Jimmy Williams, Nick Cantrell, Peggy Haslach, and Wanda Delgado recognized in inaugural InvestmentNews Awards

FAIRFIELD, IA – April 24, 2024 — Cambridge congratulates Divam Mehta of Mehta Financial Group, Jim Wessels of Vision Financial Group, Jimmy Williams of Compass Capital Management, Nick Cantrell of Green Future Wealth Management, Peggy Haslach of Planning for Good, and Wanda Delgado of Insight Financial Advisors on being named finalists for InvestmentNews Advisor of the Year awards. Mehta, Wessels, Williams, Cantrell, Haslach, and Delgado were recognized as part of the inaugural InvestmentNews Awards, which aim to recognize firms and individuals who use their dedication and knowledge to elevate the industry as a whole. Entries were received from across the industry, and finalists were selected based on their overall impact on financial services. Winners will be selected by a judging panel and announced at an InvestmentNews awards ceremony on June 20 in New York City.

Mehta, the Founder of Mehta Financial Group in Richmond, Virginia, is a finalist for the Advisor of the Year (Southeast Region) award. He launched Mehta Financial Group in 2010 to help individuals and families meet their financial goals using actionable and organic financial plans. Among several accolades, Mehta has previously made the InvestmentNews ‘40 Under 40’ list1 and won the InvestmentNews ‘Rising Star’ award2. He holds the CFP® and ChFC® designations, and earned an MBA from the University of Tampa.

Wessels, a partner and financial advisor at Vision Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa, is a finalist for the Advisor of the Year (Midwest Region) award. He works with clients to serve their financial planning, asset management, risk management, tax, and estate planning needs, and has earned both the CPA and CFA designations during his career. Wessels is also an active member of his community: his efforts include positions with Central Iowa Shelter and Services (Executive Board), Junior Achievement, United Way (Investment Committee), and the University of Iowa Krause Fund.

Williams, a finalist for the Advisor of the Year (Southwest Region) award, is the CEO/President of Compass Capital Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor and wealth management firm with offices in Tulsa and McAlester, Oklahoma. Williams currently serves as a board member of the AICPA Professional Ethics Executive Committee and has served as treasurer and trustee on the AICPA Foundation, as well as the past chairman of the AICPA National Accreditation Commission. He also holds the CPA/PFS, CFP®, and CRPC® designations.

Cantrell, a finalist for the Advisor of the Year (ESG and Responsible Investing) award, is the Founder of Green Future Wealth Management, where he supports clients with complex retirement income planning and helps them align their financial planning around socially responsible and values-based investments. He has previously been recognized by Forbes as one of the Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors3 in the country.

Haslach, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ at Planning for Good in Mansfield, Massachusetts, is also a finalist for the Advisor of the Year (ESG and Responsible Investing) award. She joined the financial services industry at the age of 53 and primarily serves women and small businesses. In 2022, Haslach received a ‘Rising Star’ award4 as part of the InvestmentNews Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion awards program. Haslach is also a member of Cambridge’s Social and Sustainable Investing Advisory Council.

Delgado, a finalist for the Advisor of the Year (West Region) award, is the founder and owner of Insight Financial Advisors in Santa Ana, California. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and French from California State University – San Bernardino, is a nine-time Women’s Choice Award® Financial Advisor honoree5, and has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager ten times6. Delgado is an executive board member with Help for Brain Injured Children (HBIC) and holds the CFP® designation.
