About Dan Karlsberg

Dan Karlsberg has been working in the financial industry since 2012 and is the Founder and President of Freedom Trail Wealth at Dove Mountain. He offers a full-service financial services practice that specializes in working with pre- and post-retirees on retirement income planning strategies, legacy planning, and fully comprehensive long-term financial plans to help clients achieve their short, intermediate, and long-term financial goals.

Dan holds Series 7 & 66 securities registrations and is insurance licensed in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, and Georgia. Before starting his own firm, Dan began his financial career as an advisor with Edward Jones. Previously, Dan had worked in the sports industry for over 15 years. He served in various capacities including Vice President of Sales, Sales Manager, General Manager and Account Executive for organizations such as the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets and Orlando Magic, MLB’s Washington Nationals & Milwaukee Brewers, and the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning & Florida Panthers as well as the Durham Americans of the Coastal Plain League.

When not helping clients, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Annette and three children, Aubrey, Dalanna, and Brody. He also stays busy being active in his community and volunteers with several non-profit organizations that support autism awareness, education and research in Southern Arizona.
