Webber was recognized as part of the inaugural InvestmentNews Awards, which aim to spotlight firms and individuals who use their dedication and knowledge to elevate the industry as a whole. Winners will be selected by a judging panel and announced at an InvestmentNews awards ceremony on June 20 in New York City.
Entries were received from across the industry, and finalists were selected based on their overall impact on financial services. Webber is only the second CEO in Cambridge’s 40+-year history1, succeeding Founder Eric Schwartz in 2017. She joined Cambridge in 1998 as the firm’s 22nd employee, and has held leadership roles in service, marketing, operations, compliance, and sales during her tenure. In 2009, she was promoted to President, a position she held until August 2022. Webber’s career accomplishments and efforts to support financial professionals were recognized in November 2022, when she was awarded the InvestmentNews Women to Watch Lifetime Achievement2 award. Also in 2022, Webber was named WealthManagement.com’s CEO of the Year3 (Broker-Dealers, 1,000+ Advisors).
