Andrea Shafer joined Cambridge in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her role, Shafer leads Cambridge’s Advocacy & Supervision Team, provides guidance on legal and regulatory issues, and works with other executives and senior leaders at the firm to develop and execute strategic planning initiatives. She previously led Cambridge’s Regulatory Affairs Team and holds a number of other key roles at the firm, including facilitator with the Cambridge Community of Women and board member with the Cambridge Foundation. She also serves on Cambridge’s Conflicts Committee. In 2022, Shafer was named to the InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 list1, which recognizes some of the top individuals in financial services under the age of 40. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law in addition to FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses.
