Yes, beginning in 2017, Cambridge offered a major expansion of our associate benefits with the Cambridge Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to eligible associates. The Cambridge ESOP is another step in controlling our own destiny by remaining privately controlled based on associate and management ownership – which includes hundreds of associates as indirect stockholders, along with management who are direct stockholders.

Solutions for Independence – Business Models

Cambridge offers intelligent flexibility for independent advisors. You may choose dual registration, RIA registration only, or FINRA only.

Our Advisor Advantage offering serves independent advisors with fee focused or fee only business models – and supports independent advisors in the process of transforming their business from fee focused to fee only.

You may elect to use Cambridge’s RIA or an independent RIA.

Cambridge’s national reach includes: Cambridge investment Research Advisors, Inc. – a large corporate RIA; and Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. – an independent broker-dealer, member FINRA/SIPC, that is among the largest privately controlled independent broker-dealers in the country.

We offer customizable services for a wide variety of advisor business models, including:

  • Solo Advisors
  • Ensembles of two to 10 advisors working as a multi-advisor organization
  • Ensemble Enterprises of 10 or more advisors working as a multi-advisor organization
  • Multi-advisor Teams of two to 35 advisors sharing expenses and collaborating
  • Enterprises of 36 or more advisors

2 February 15

Mutual funds, certain unit investment trusts (UITs), real estate investment trusts (REITs), and certain equities.

If investments that are awaiting information from issuers, trustees, or final review are not finalized by this mailing, a Pending 1099 Notice will be mailed.

Revision mailing for 1099s sent in phase 1, as required.

3 February 28

Finalization from the Pending 1099 Notice listed in phase 2. Remaining mutual funds, REITs, and certain equities.

Revision mailing for 1099s sent in phases 1 and 2, as required.

4 March 15

All remaining accounts, regardless of whether pending income reclassification for the accounts’ income has been received from issuers.

Includes complex non-equity securities, such as real estate mortgage investment conduits (REMICs), widely held fixed investment trusts (WHFITs), and some UITs.

Revision mailing for 1099s sent in all previous phases, as required.

Pending notices will be available via e-Document SuiteTM for accounts pending final reporting.

Interest rates/APY will be determined based on prevailing economic and business conditions and are subject to change at any time.

Balances will earn the same rate of interest regardless of the Program Bank with which funds are deposited. Interest rate is based upon each account's Program Deposits in accordance with the above Interest Rate Tiers. The rate of interest is evaluated on a daily basis.
