About Cambridge

Cambridge is a privately controlled financial solutions firm. We are dedicated to serving independent financial professionals and committed to remaining privately controlled. We believe preserving our commitment to you is based on our stability of management and ownership within Cambridge. We have a written plan firmly in place to ensure the long term private control and true independence for Cambridge.

Yes, beginning in 2017, Cambridge offered a major expansion of our associate benefits with the Cambridge Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to eligible associates. The Cambridge ESOP is another step in controlling our own destiny by remaining privately controlled based on associate and management ownership – which includes hundreds of associates as indirect stockholders, along with management who are direct stockholders.

Our purpose is to make a difference in the lives of our advisors, their clients, and our associates. We will do this by continuously improving and refining our competitive differentiation, unique culture, customizable experience, and superior quality.

Our Values reflect our purpose, define our culture, and direct our actions.

  • Integrity – honesty, fairness, and ethics are the foundation of our culture
  • Commitment – making a difference to our community through quality, excellence, and service
  • Flexibility – innovative solutions based on being open minded, thoughtful, and resourceful
  • Kindness – actions guided by consideration and human touch while embracing accountability

We are honored to be a leader among the most respected firms in the industry.

Cambridge has been named Broker-Dealer of the Year by Investment Advisor magazine 11-times. We view the Broker-Dealer of the Year honor as a key measure of achievement in our commitment to continually raise standards of excellence even higher in serving those who serve others. Cambridge is the only firm honored with being recognized 11 times as a Broker-Dealer of the Year, and this honor is based on receiving advisor feedback in 15 categories from the Broker-Dealer of the Year awards criteria

We have also received 9 out of 10 overall average for over 20 years by our advisors in our Annual Advisor Satisfaction Survey. This survey is integral to our commitment to delivering an experience of service excellence to advisors and their investing clients.

Cambridge is pleased to announce it has been recognized as a top workplace in Iowa for the eighth consecutive year. Sponsored by The Des Moines Register, the 2018 Top Workplaces in Iowa award listed Cambridge as the seventh best workplace for large companies that employ over 500 associates.
