Rick Boyles joined Cambridge in 2016 and serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Council. Boyles brings more than 30 years of accounting, financial management, broker-dealer operations, and personnel management experience to his role. He is responsible for all financial and fiscal management for the firm, as well as providing oversight to the Human Resources, Project Management, and Continuous Improvement Teams. Boyles offers consultative guidance to Cambridge and its independent financial advisors by providing finance and accounting direction at the firm level, along with collaborative leadership in Cambridge’s internship program, The Next Step®and its growing appeal to highly qualified college students across the country.
He is also a member of Cambridge’s Corporate Relations Steering Committee, organized by a group of executives dedicated to providing leadership and guidance on key issues and objectives of the firm. Boyles’ previous professional experience includes serving as chief financial and operations officer for City Financial Corporation in Indianapolis for 15 years, along with a variety of leadership roles with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Boyles also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant™ (CGMA®) designation along with the FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, 63, and 65 licenses.
