2018 Spirit of Cambridge Awards Presented to Kay Knuth, Michael Curtis, and Monte Ferguson


Cambridge recognizes advisors for client service and commitment to core values

FAIRFIELD, IA – November 12, 2018  Cambridge is pleased to announce it has awarded three Cambridge advisors – Kay Knuth, Michael Curtis, and Monte Ferguson – the 2018 Spirit of Cambridge Award. Each year Cambridge awards three advisors for their exceptional practices and outstanding service, recognizing them on stage during Ignite, Cambridge’s annual national conference.

Kay Knuth, founder and president of Knuth Financial Life Planning located in Appleton, Wisconsin, is a certified financial planner™ professional. Knuth has more 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined Cambridge in 2007.

Michael Curtis, founder of Curtis Financial Services, is a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) located in Muscatine, Iowa. Curtis has more than 40 years of financial services experience and joined Cambridge in 2006.

Monte Ferguson, founder of Pivotal Financial Advisors, LLC located in Fort Worth, Texas is a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and certified financial planner™ professional. Ferguson joined Cambridge in 2008 and has more than 30 years of diverse leadership and business experience as both a military officer and corporate executive.

About The Spirit of Cambridge Award
The Spirit of Cambridge Award is awarded annually to independent financial advisors who are dedicated to serving their clients while reflecting Cambridge’s core values of integrity, commitment, flexibility, and kindness. Each year, Cambridge home office associates select three award recipients from a pool of outstanding advisors who have been affiliated with Cambridge for at least 10 years. The awards are presented on stage during Ignite, Cambridge’s annual national conference, along with a $1,000 donation by Cambridge to a qualified charity of each recipient’s choice to further honor their spirit and dedication to Cambridge and the industry.

Given their dedication to their clients, Cambridge, and the financial services industry as a whole, this is a well-deserved award for each honoree. Spirit of Cambridge honorees to date include:
