Cambridge is pleased to welcome Brian Waelti to the firm as senior vice president of Consulting Services. In this role, Waelti leads and manages the strategic initiatives of the Consulting Services Department, which includes the Practice Management, Technology Consulting, Business Consulting, and Succession and Acquisition Solutions Teams.
Waelti joins Cambridge with nearly 25 years of experience within the financial services industry. Prior to joining Cambridge he held senior leadership roles at Ameriprise Financial and most recently served as the chief administrative officer of wealth management at US Bank. As the senior leader for Cambridge’s newly formed Consulting Services Department, he will oversee the ongoing development and enhancement of department and firm offerings, specifically focusing on the growth and development of Cambridge independent financial advisor offices.
Waelti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in strategy from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor® (CMFC®) designation and the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
