Eric Schwartz is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. Eric has led the company to become one of the fastest growing Broker/Dealers in the industry through his commitment to providing the highest level of flexible, open-architecture fee and commission platforms to independent financial planners and investment advisors. Eric is a member of the founding board of directors of the Financial Services Institute (FSI)and served as the 2009 FSI Chairman of the Board. In May 2010, he was honored by Investment Advisor magazine as one of the 30 most influential people in the business over the past 30 years.

Amy L. WebberAmy L. Webber
President and Chief Operating Officer

Amy Webber joined Cambridge in April 1998, serving as Vice President of Operations until September 2000 when her significant contributions were recognized by advancement into the role of Chief Operating Officer. In 2007, she took over as President. With over 20 years of industry experience including comprehensive management within operations, compliance, technology and finance, Amy brings a broad range of expertise to the table with a particular emphasis in developing strong technical solutions while maintaining a high level of personal service. In 2009 and 2010, Amy was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Wealth Management by Wealth Manager.

First Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Jim Guy joined Cambridge after 25 years of retail financial planning experience. In September 2000, he accepted the role of Chief Marketing Officer bringing a deep understanding of a Rep/Advisor’s day-to-day world to Cambridge’s Home Office and senior management team. In 2007, he added the role of First Executive Vice President to his responsibilities. Jim brings his experience and passion for the industry to the areas of Business Development and Marketing and believes that one of the best ways for a company to grow is to nurture the goals of its Rep/Advisors to the point of excellence.

Dan SullivanDan Sullivan
Senior Vice President, Marketing

Dan Sullivan joined Cambridge in July 2006 with 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. Since 1992, he has been President of Spectrum Financial Group, Inc., a successful Minneapolis-based firm specializing in Corporate Retirement Plans including TPA services, Investment Management and Comprehensive Planning for high net worth families through their Life Strategies Program. In his role as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Dan is particularly focused on expanding Cambridge’s Practice Management Division to help Rep/Advisors build their businesses.
